Travailleuse Coffee Table - A

Travailleuse coffee table, in French style, with two shelves and drawer on the front. The coffee table is made of ebonized wood, veneered and inlaid with various essences, adorned along the perimeter by a gilded and chiselled border and is supported by four wavy line legs.
Period: dating back to between the second half of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century
State of conservation: it is intact but a state of wear and deterioration is evident, especially on the upper shelf (see photo n. 21). It needs a restoration - ref. Living room compartment II room 11
