Giuseppe Cesetti (Tuscania, 1902 - 1990) – "Three Jockeys at the Gallop", 1986. Oil painting on canvas, dimensions 50x60 cm. The work depicts an equestrian scene with three jockeys at the gallop (with bright green and pink chromatic tones), a subject considered highly sought after on the market and among collectors in this field. The work bears the artist’s autograph signature at the lower left, "Cesetti". On the back of the stretcher and the canvas is affixed the "Certificate of Guarantee and Evaluation" issued in 1986 by the "L’Idea" Art Gallery (Bassi & C. Auction House), which attests to an estimated value at the time of ITL 28,000,000. It is also accompanied by a declaration of authenticity on a photograph, endorsed by the Contini Art Gallery on 19/09/1986, with archive number 0034. The painting is duly published in the General Catalogue of the works of Giuseppe Cesetti, published by Giorgio Mondadori, 1st Repertoire, Plate 86/49, p. 182.
